Ebooks That Rock!

Let's be honest most eBooks are pure garbage.

I have purchased and read over 150 eBooks in my 12 years on the internet, and I can say that 135 of those eBooks fall in the "pure garbage" heap.

Let me define eBooks first and then I'll define garbage for you.

Ebook is the term used for an "electronic book". In other words it's not like your typical paper book. In other words it floats around in cyberspace and you download it to your computer's hard drive and read it.

The advantage of eBooks is that you "get them now" even if it's 4 a.m. in the morning.

A disadvantage of an eBook is that you don't get to stand in a bookstore and read some of it before you decide it's worth the investment.

What's my definition of eBooks that are pure garbage.

Let's see.

They suck!

They stink!

They're unbelievable.

Nothing but hype!

After printing them out they make great toilet paper.

They are written by "gurus" instead of "mentors".

They are mostly frosting and no cake!

They are "factory retreads" that spew the same garbage as others.

They are over-priced.

They over promise and don't deliver!

When you are done reading them you are more depressed or confused than before you read them.

Qualifications For An Ebook That Rocks!

It must under-promise and over-deliver. Period.

Under-promise means no false claims. No hype. No promise of millions before next Wednesday. No "you can quit your job tomorrow".

Over-deliver means you get alot more value than the price of the eBook or time you invest in reading the eBook.

Let me add one final qualification.

The author has to "walk his/her talk"! In other words they have to be practicing their words. They have to have been there and done it.
