I've also recieved a lot of questions.

For example:

"Paul, are you nuts? Having an online ezine won't work. People prefer to get it by email and maybe they want to print it, they are not going to click on a link and go to it online".

I'm a numbers cruncher and I saw no significant un-open rate loss after I made the switch, but I'm going to let you in on a little secret.

I'll never go back to putting an ezine in your email box. NEVER!

There are too many advantages that far out-weigh the disadvantages. Besides, it's just too much fun doing it like this.

Site Linking Strategy

You know the power of site linking. Right?

I have a question for you. Which link do you think is most valuable, a link exchange or a inbound link from another site that is related to your site topic?

See, search engines look at link exchanges and those are ok and better than nothing, but the value of a inbound link to your site from another site that is related is powerful.

The theory behind it is this. If other sites link to your site, without you linking back, your site must be pretty good stuff. It's that simple.

How do you get inbound unsolicited links from other sites?

The hope is that as you build your site with good quality content other sites will link to you. That's exactly what happens if you focus on good content that people want or need.

That could take years!

I'm not a patient guy. So I speed up the value of my site by getting the links myself.

How?

There are several ways and we'll discuss them as we go along. Here's one way.

Write good articles, with good headlines, with good content, with good bio boxes.

That's a mouthful!

Finally, submit your articles to the best directories, not the most directories.

You might say "Ok Paul, so I write good articles about my stuff and put links in it?"

No. Most article directories don't allow links in the body of an article, only in the bio box at the end of the article.

I don't know about you, but I want to get paid more than once when I promote other people's stuff.

Don't you?

I have nothing against affiliate programs, but dog gone it, it would be nice to get paid just like the affiliate program owner.

I know that there are great affiliate programs with great eBooks and that's fine, but there are a handful of affiliate programs on the web that allow lifetime commissions.

Mind you some of them need a lot of research before you go referring your site visitors. I work too hard to build trust with my site visitors just to throw some up some programs. I do some careful research on all of them.

In fact, I won't recommend an affiliate program unless I use it or have used it in the past.

By the way, feel free to comment on your favorite affiliate program down at the end of this issue.

Ok, let's get to some good affiliate programs that pay lifetime commissions, or at least more than a one time commission.
